Can someone recommend a range hood for a tall person?

Question by taarheel: Can someone recommend a range hood for a tall person?
I am 6’4″ and we are remodeling our kitchen. I am going crazy trying to figure out what range hood to get so that:

a. It works. It’s deep enough and powerful enough. We are getting a 30″ Jenn-Air Pro gas range (PRG3010NP).
b. I can see what I’m cooking. This will not be the case if the range hood is 24″ deep and mounted at 30″ above the range top.
c. It costs less than $ 2000.

O.K. so you are doing it yoursrelf? then place it where you want it…Higher up…..But be sure you have extra wire…….Try mounting it 4 ft. up…Good Luck
